Section 24-126 of the Butte County Code is e hereby added to read as follows; 7 §24-126 PUD (Planned Unit Development) Zone. (A) Purpose; The purpose of the Planning Unit Developmenj g (PUD) Zone is to allow diversification in the relationship of var- 10 ious uses, buildings, structures, es and open spaces; to lot sit 11 encourage and take advantage of opportuniures for 'integrated, 12 flexible and superior design than is Available through the appli- 13 cation of conventionalregulation which anticipates individual lot 14 development. It is the intent of this Zone to provide a flexible 15 means to implement the goals-, policies and programs of the Butte 16 County Generel Plan while insuring the provision of adequate 17 standards to protect the public health, safety and general welfare, 18 It is also the purpose of this zone to encourage innovative, high 19 quality design, efficient use of land and modern site planning for h + !.0 residential, agriculture, commercial, and industrial purposes. 21 (B) Adoption and use limitations; A Planned Unit Develop 22 irient (PUD) Zone shall be estt4blished by the adoption of ap► Ordinanc 23 by the Board of Supervisors rezoning the property to the Planned 24 Unit Development Zone and adopting by reference a band Use and 23 DeVelopment plan, tho provisions of which, together with any other 26 provisions which in the opinion of the Board of Supervisors are i 1! necessary and included in the Ordinance, shall constitute the 2 regulations for the use, improvement, and maintenance of the 3 property within the boundaries of the zone.
