The $262.00 abandonment-processing fee has been paid. Please have the proposed abandonment submitted to the Planning Commission at the earliest opportunity, to be considered in regard to the findings that the project is categorically exempt from environmental review and the proposed abandonment is in conformance with the Butte County General Plan. Following Planning Commission action our department will further process the abandonment with County counsel and the Board of Supervisors. Note that there is a public services easement reservation for utilities. Copies of the letters from the utilities are also attached. Please advise us of the schedule of processing by your department and provide us a copy of the Planning Commission minutes documenting the Commission's action.
