Staff recommends the Board concur with the Planning Commission and subject to the findings listed in this report, approve the request.' ANALYSIS: This is a request for the abandonment of a 5 foot public utility easement and light and air easement. The easement is a 5 foot strip lying along the easterly property line of Lot 60 of the Carriage Manor PUD. The abandonment is being requested so that the property owner may erect a carport adjacent to the mobile home on-site. Several other similar abandonments .have been approved within this subdivision over the years. The easement is not currently being used and all utility companies have stated that they have no objections to the abandonment. PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: The Planning Commission heard testimony regarding this project. The Commission took an action recommending that the Board approve the abandonment.
