To increase administrative efficiency, the statute delegated the collection of filing fees to the County Clerk and provided the County authority to collect a $25.00 documentary handling fee. The fee for the filing of a Notice of Exemption is the $25.00 documentary handling fee. A check made payable to the County in the amount of $25.00 should be submitted to the County by January 18, 1994. (File No. 94-03) DATE: November 4, 1993 This is a request for an abandonment of a portion of Kelly Ridge Road, formerly named Hillcrest Avenue, located approximately 600 feet north of its intersection with Heritage Drive, adjacent to AP# 069-320-012. The proposed abandonment will not conflict with any adopted or proposed element of the General Plan. This portion of the roadway is no longer necessary, to the County but should be maintained as a Public Utility Easement for the continued use of facilities located within the roadway. RECOMMENDATION: A. Find that the project is Categorically Exempt from Environmental Review; and B. Find that the project is in conformance with the Butte County General plan; and C. Recommend that the Board of Supervisors approve the abandonment of a portion of Kelly Ridge Road, adjacent to AP# 069-320-012 (Schwartz), subject to the following condition: 1.
