Sincerely, WMg BKH:jb Enclosure Town and Country Realty Mr. Don Miller Dear Mr. Miller: We are writing concerning the properties at Olive Highway and Canyon Drive which we have in Escrow contingent upon a re-zoning for use as C-2 properties. We received a call from the Planning Commission concerning some problems that they foresee. One was the access of entry and egress of Olive Highway which is very important for our type of future' business. We talked to the Highway Patrol and got their input. They referred us to Cal Trans. The another problem is the drainage*of the properties. There is no drainage ditch on Canyon Drive which Public Works discussed with us. The solution to the drainage problem is to get permission from Cal. Trans to drain the properties to Hwy. 162. We have met with Cal Trans., and they informed us that these requests may well be possible but that this is the time .for their fiscal year end and they are very busy, so that we are just going to have to wait until they can.get to it. There were some other problems, which can be,easily dealt with on the re-draw of the plot map, when we get input back from Cal Trans. We also are anxious concerning the re-zoning due to money's borrowed that interest is being paid on, but we are doing all we can. Respectfully, Planning.DepartLn f John J. 12eed.
