Pejsas contend that the entire deposit of$350 (originally applied to the MUP 02-09)should have been transferred and not just the unspent portion. Carl has the file and says that there is written documentation. Please review and respond by e-mail providing direction on the correct amount of transfer to the UP 02-18 project. At that time, we were not applying the double the acreage standard for U zone properties (although we should have been). Mr. Pejsa claims he was told by Craig Sanders that the application was taken in error, and there is no record of when these conversations took place. However, Pejsa submitted a new application for a Use Permit 02-18 on 19 February 2002. Mr. Pejsa claims he attended a meeting with Yvonne and Craig concerning the fact we took in the MUP application in error, and at that meeting it was determined that a full Planning Division refund of$350 was to be credited toward the Use Permit application. There is no record of this meeting in the file, but it would have occurred prior to submittal of the Use Permit. The only record of this credit is a hand written note on our copy of the Use Permit receipt reflecting a credit of the full $350. I need confirmation of these facts and events in order to pursue.the Use Permit application, and inform Mr. Pejsa of the amount of money he needs to deposit to bring the funds up to the required amount. Apparently a,use permit has been applied for; UP 02-18. The soils work that I stated was necessary was for the RV park complex. Mr. Pejsa states that he wants a separate septic system for one of three homes on the site and was told he had to complete soil profiles, perc tests etc. Without knowing any of the recent details I don't think he needs to complete extensive soils work for a septic system for his home; maybe a couple soil profile holes. The extensive soils work will be necessary for the proposed RV park though. For the home I think all he needs to do is what is normally called for up in that area for a home. I believe he will be coming in to talk to someone about this in the Oroville office and what I mentioned above is what I told him; I also told him that you guys/gals have the final say on what is,required; I only gave him my opinion about what I thought was necessary. 1 6 f e Inter-Departmental Memorandum To: Craig Sanders, Senior Planner From: Ted Crawford, Fire Department Subject: Use Permit 02-18, Dan Pejsa, RV Park in Brush Creek Date: May 22, 2002 In addition to the other requirements that I have previously sent on the subject RV Park, please add the following: 1.
