The permit must be obtained from the State Water Resources Control Board prior to construction. If a construction storm water permit is required, place a note on an additional map sheet that states: "The development of this parcel/final map required a construction storm water permit. Construction activities that result in a land disturbance of less than one acre, but which are part of a larger common plan of development, also require a permit.
