SUMMARY: The project proposes a tentative subdivision map to divide a 4.5 acre parcel =nto 18 single-family lots. The project parcel is located within the C Compatibility Zone of the Oroville Municipal Airport. Staff recommends that ALUC find the proposed subdivision consistent with the 2000 Butte County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan for the Oroville Municipal Airport. BACKGROUND: The project parcel is 4.5 acres and is developed with a single family dwelling (to remain). • The property is within the sphere of influence of the City of Oroville and is zoned by Butte County as A -R (Agricultural Residential) and has a General Plan Lana Use Designation, of Low Density Residential. • The proposed subdivision map would create 18 single-family residential lots with a density of approximately 4.0 dwelling units per acre. • Parcel sizes range from 6,500 square feet to 21,900 square feet.
