As you are aware, the Planning Commission included,a
condition.on the mining permit and reclamation plan for
Ronald R. 'Logan reading as follows-: "Periodic review of the site,
.no less than three times per year, is to be accomplished by the
Public Works Department, pursuant to Section 13-109 of the County
Code."
would like to consult with you about when those three
reviews of the site would occur. It..would help us for our
records and to be accountable to the Planning" Commission decision
to receive a verbal, if not a written, report of the site inspec-
tions by yourself or someone from your.. staff .
Other projects :involving mining permits and reclamation.:
plans, :such as the Parker Rock Quarry near Bangor and the S.R.N..
MineraIs.mining operation off Avocado.Road:northwest of Bangor,
?:• will.also be reviewed 'periodically.by. your Department. Similarly,
wewould appreciate receiving a report as to the status of the
above-mentioned projects and others that :have been approved in. the
