V January 8, 2016 r Butte County Building Department Attn: Curtis Johnson, Supervisor 7 County Drive Oroville, CA 95965 Re: Gridley Farm Labor Housing: Submitted changes to approved plans Dear Curtis: We have submitted drawings to your department depicting the changes to the approved plans. Locations of additions have altered due to conflicts with PG&E lines. We have changed the construction on the additions from CMU to wood framing. And, on submitted Sheet S 1.12A, we have corrected sizing of beams and eliminatedad footings. P g Five units will have relocations of the approved additions. On three (3) of these units, additions that were approved on the rear of the buildings (our original plan type Bs) need to be moved to the side of the building (using our original plan type Cs). Square footages do not change. The addresses/permit numbers where this relocation will take place are: 1. 874 Authority Drive, Permit 41313-2094 2. 1510 Sussex Avenue, Permit #1313-2099 This is a duplex 3. 1512 Sussex Avenue, Permit #B13-2099 On one (1) of these five (5) units, due to PG&E conflicts and the extreme narrowness of the existing side yard, the original design (Bs) will be changed to a modified Cs: 4. 1509 Sussex Avenue, Permit #1313-2117 (I'm completing this modified drawing and will FedEx it to you ASAP.) _ On the final one (1) of the five changed units, the addition will stay at the rear of the building; but, again due to PG&E conflicts, the Laundry room will be slid approximately 8 feet along the back of the building and the Storage area will be attached to the rear of the Laundry room. No square footages will change. 5. 1543 Sussex Avenue, Permit #1313-2098 (I'm completing this modified drawing and will FedEx it to you ASAP.) On the drawing I turned in, Sheet A, the new wood framing for the additions is shown. For the units that will remain as designed with Bs floor plan to the rear of each unit, Floor Plan A, Roof Framing Plan A and Section A apply. This condition is found at: 6. 876 Authority Drive, Permit #1313-2094 7. 1545 Sussex Avenue, Permit #1313-2098 (a duplex with 1543 Sussex) Patricia Barnard Archit ect and Page 1 4174 Scranton Circle, Carmichael, CA 95608 Telephone: (916)283-4690 - FAX: (916)283-4691- Mobile: (916)601-1888 (BEST) - email: pbal@surewest.net - For the units that will remain as originally designed with Cs floor plan to the side of the unit, Floor Plan B, Roof Framing Plan B and Section B on Sheet A apply. This condition is found at: 8. 873 Authority Drive, Permit #B13-2102 This is a duplex. Due to PG&E conflicts, the addition 9. 875 Authority Drive, Permit #B13-2102 at 873 Authority will be slid forward, becoming a Calt plan as originally permitted — see sheet A204. 10. 1544 Sussex Avenue, Permit #B 13-2123 This is a duplex. 11. 1542 Sussex Avenue, Permit #B13-2123 12. 1511 Sussex Avenue, Permit #B13-2117 Details 1 through 7 on Sheet A apply to units 1 through 12 above. Details 3 through 7 on Sheet A apply to the following units (no additions at these addresses): 13. 867 Authority Drive, Permit #B13-2140 14.878 Authority Drive, Permit #B13-2130 15. 1536 Sussex Avenue, Permit #B13-2131 16. 1528 Sussex Avenue, Permit #B13-2138 17. 1518 Sussex Avenue, Permit #B13-2135 18. 1528 Sussex Avenue, Permit #B13-2138 lex 19. 1539/1537 Sussex Avenue, Permit #B13-2090 This is a duplex I have noticed that on two permits where a duplex is being converted to a single family home, the address is incorrect on the permit form. The permit marked 1532 Sussex Avenue, Permit #B13-2138, should be changed to the correct 1528 Sussex Avenue address. The permit marked 1538 Sussex Avenue, Permit 4B13-2131, should be changed to the correct 1536 Sussex Avenue address. For submitted Sheet S 1.12A, our structural engineer, Jim Burrows, P.E., will be emailing you a letter allowing the changes made and stamped by me. We will be turning in revised plans for the Administration Building at 850 E. Gridley Road, Permit #B13- 2072 shortly. Due to budget constraints, we have radically reduced the amount of interior work and exterior flatwork. Finally, I noticed a slight error in Detail 3 on Sheet A. This is the connection between the slab infill at plumbing line cuts. We are installing #4 bar @18" o.c. at the perimeter of the cut. 'There is no longitudinal bar.
