The Builder is responsible for the methods of construction including forming, bracing, etc. The Builder shall provide all measures necessary to protect people and property during construction. 1-3 The Builder is responsible for obtaining all necessary approvals and permits from all governing agencies and scheduling inspections. FOUNDATION / SITE WORK: 2-1 The Builder is responsible for locating all buried objects that may be encountered but that are not shown on these plans. 2-2 All excavations shall be inspected and approved by the Building Official before concrete is poured. Engineered fill may be used as existing grade provided compaction tests are presented to the Engineer indicating a minimum compaction of 909 relative compaction per ASTM D 1557. Fill material shall be free from debris, vegetation, and other foreign substances. 2-3 The bottom of all footings shall be clean and level. CONCRETE: 3-1 All concrete shall have a minimum f c = 2,500 psi after 28 days curing unless otherwise noted. 3-2 Materials used to produce concrete, concrete itself and testing shall comply with applicable standards listed in ACI 318.
