This letter indicates that the installation of all post -installed hold down anchor rods into
concrete per Detail 10 on Sheet S2.1 of the approved Construction Documents have been
observed by the Engineer of Record per the requirements of Section 1705.1.1.3 of the 2016
CBC. All anchor rod installations were performed by the Contractor in accordance with
the manufacturer's installation requirements as well as all installation requirements
outlined in ICC -ES report number ESR -3187.
Manufacturer: Hilti, Inc.
Product: HIT HY 200-R
Anchor Rod: 5/8" diameter threaded rod
Hole Size: 3/4" diameter, 6" embedment
Observation occurred on 01-17-17 at 9:30 am. Ambient air temperature was 40° F. All
holes were properly drilled and prepared. The product's expiration date noted on the
packaging was 05/2017. The product was dispensed using the proper mixing tip with a
Hilti HDM 500 side-by-side dispensing gun.'
