I observed the contractor calibrate the torque wrench using a tension indicating device (Skidmore Whilhelm) I observed the contractor install and fully tension % inch diameter A325 high strength bolts for the A, B, C, and D connections located on lines 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7. The bolts were tensioned using the calibrated wrench method. The installation appeared to be in general compliance with the contract documents. The remaining secondary framing connections and connections using Y2 inch diameter A325 bolts appeared to be in a snug tight condition at the time of this inspection.
