SUMMARY ACTION MINUTES OF MARCH 10, 2004
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 3:10 p.m. by Chair Neil McCabe" at the Klamath
Conference Room, 202 Mira Loma -Drive, Oroville, California.
2. ROLL CALL
Board members present: Harold Corkin, Dee Hunter, Ned Kirkham, Don Litton, and
Neil McCabe:
Staff present. Yvonne Christopher, Michael Vieira„ and ;Dolores Horn from Butte County
Department of Development Services; Rob Mac_Ken_z- e, County Counsel; Steve Rodowick
from Butte County Public Works.
Others present: Madelyn Henry, Cathy Hodges; Howa"rd Martz, Ada Martz, Don Steele,
Sharon Townsend, Mary Weston, and Norie J. Wheeler.
3. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES QF DECEMBER 10, 2003
A motion was made by DeewHuriter, seconded by Don Litton and unanimously carried to
approve the meeting minuter:of December 10-2003. There was one ,abstention by Ned
Kirkham who was not in attendance:at:thetDecember 10, 2003 meeting.
4. REPORT ON ABOARD 'OE SURERVISORS MEETING OF FEBRUARY 24, 2004
CONCERNING =PRESENT STATUS OF ABANDONED VEHICLE ABATEMENT
PROGRAM
Yvonne Christopher summarized her report to the Board of Supervisor regarding by stating
Steve Rodowick presented some of the Public Works current and proposed programs, Neil
McCabe presented two code enforcement ordinance changes, and Lt. Gillingwater from
California Highway Patrol (CHP) also spoke on the ordinance changes.
Action: Staff was requested to add an ,"AVA. Report from Staff' be ,:placed on the next
meeting agenda to provide information back to. CEAB.' He also requested that a
representative, from the Chico CHP be invited to attend the Code Enforcement Advisory
Board meetings "

14 Steve Rodowick announced the Butte County Public Works' department will hold a Tire
15 Amnesty Day on Saturday, April 24, 2004; at the Highway 70 Industrial Park in the south part
16 of the county: He added there will be advertising in the Enterprise Record and Gridley Herald
17 newspapers for this community.clean-up program. =w <

19 Rob MacKenzie stated the Board of Supervisors had formed Z-%oIi'd" waste subcommittee to
