We herewith submit for your processing an amended map. We would like to go through the loop again on the map process and the rezone. Please let me know what fees you require to accomplish this. The Tentative Map Application, Environmental Questionnaire and Preliminary Title Report can be used. from the prior submittal. I have enclosed thirty-five prints and two 81h"x 11" reductions "of the amended map. I .have also enclosed two other items of interest which came up at the prior planning commission hearing on the subdivision. First, we had a study performed on the site in relation to the airport,. a copy of which ' is attached. The report concludes that air safety is not an issue. Noise appears to be the major concern. As can be seen, the site is outside of the allowable noise contours under the worst of assumptions. Noise inconvenience would be addressed by Drake' Homes, Inc. to potential home buyers through full disclosure, granting of an avigation easement and extra insulation to mitigate noise. Second, I have proposed an affordable housing. plan for twelve of the homes in the subdivision. Drake Homes, Inc. would ,offer 3 bedroom/2 bath' homes of approximately .1,100 square feet at below market sales prices. using the Chico Redevelopment Agency Mortgage Subsidy program. Additionally, Drake Homes, Inc. recognizes its obligation to do its share to. meet the demands of those in need of affordable housing and, therefore, would take its profit in the form of a note with attractive deferred interest rates.
