RE: Building Permit No. B19-0645, APN 078-090-001
Dear: NORTH VALLEY BUILDING SYSTEMS, INC.
Plans for the above referenced project have been routed to the Department of Public Works for
review of compliance with Butte County Code Section 26-12 (available on line at
http://municipalcodes.lexisnexis.com/codes/butteco/). Based on our initial review of the
information provided, the Department of Public Works has determined that the following items
will be required:
1. Construction of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and proper access from public roads or
payment of an in-lieu fee in an amount equal to the estimated cost of the required
improvements.
2. Drainage plans and calculations shall be submitted to and approved by the
Department of Public Works. Engineering plans shall detail existing drainage
conditions and specify how storm water runoff will be either detained or retained
onsite and/ or conveyed to the nearest natural drainage channel or publicly
maintained facility. Engineering calculations shall show there is no increase in
peak flow runoff leaving the property.
3. Dedication of rights-of-way along the entire parcel frontage of Kusel Road such
that there is a total of 30’ width from the existing centerline to the parcel frontage.
4. The construction of an enclosure for containers used to hold solid waste and/or
recyclable materials for collection.
Please submit sufficient information to the Land Development Division of the Public Works
Department, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, CA 95965 that demonstrates compliance with
County Code Section 26-12. Submit construction plans and/or engineering analysis in duplicate
in accordance with county improvement standards (available on line at
http://www.buttecounty.net/publicworks/Services/ImprovementStandards.aspx) along with a
$700.00 minimum plan checking deposit.
