Existing Structures – If you plan on having the public attend events inside of existing structures, when
were those structures permitted? Please provide Building Permit numbers and other helpful
information: An Ag barn is in the process of being built (B09-0979). If Minor use permit is granted then
any changes (i.e. barn, restrooms, septic, well) required for attendee use by County will be incorporated
into the design. Event’s will not utilize the inside of the barn until such changes are permitted.
Barn Redesign - Our desired event barn for attendee use would have a 10’x48’ addition to the North side
and a 10’x48’ covered patio on the South side. The North addition would have 2 bathrooms (at least
one ADA compliant), a bride suite, and a multi-purpose room (i.e. caterer setup, buffet space, chair and
table storage, bar, etc.). The entire 36’x48’ area would be used as event space and have the current Ag
barn bathroom removed. The second story floor would be eliminated.
How will drinking water be provided to attendees? Bottled water will be provided for attendees.
How will wastewater disposal, toilets and handwashing be provided to attendees? Portable restroom
and handwashing facilities using an approved potable water source will be on site for attendees.
How will food be provided to attendees? Attendees will hire County permitted caterers, food trucks,
etc.
How will garbage be taken care of? Recycling and trash containers will be provided on site. Owner will
collect all recycling and trash then take it to recycling center or landfill after the event.
