On February 4th we conducted a fire and life safety inspection at the church. Over all the
inspection went well. We found a few items that need to be addressed see items listed below.
General Housekeeping
• Storage shall be maintained 2 feet or more below the ceiling in non-sprinklered areas of
buildings... — CFC Sec. 315.3.1
• Combustible material shall not be stored in boiler rooms, mechanical rooms or electrical
equipment rooms. — CFC Sec. 315.3.3
Assembly Area
• Power Strips shall be directly connected to a permanently installed receptacle. — CFC Sec.
605.4.2
• Extension cords shall not be used as substitute for permanent wiring. — CFC Sec. 605.5
North Hallway
• Hole in sheet rock on ceiling needs to be patched or covered.
