Subject:M&T Mining Permit
Dear Mr. Hickel,
I am sending this email as my comments on the proposed M&T mining project. I have a strong concern about
the truck traffic from the proposed project. The Chico River Road route is already a very busy highway with
Ag equipment and general traffic and its intersecting with west 5th street, where there are a lot of college
students is only going to make the use of this road more hazard. Also the road is not going to get any better with
all the additional trucks using it. I do believe that the river road route to HWY 32 would be a much safer
option. With the extra use of the road, maybe M&T should redo the road every so often to compensate for any
hazards created by their trucks.
