Dear Mr. Hickel:
I understand that a public notice to receive comments on an IS/MND for the so‐called Sacramento River Salmon Gravel
Restoration Project was sent to various parties on or about May 22 of this year. The public notice gave a conflicting time
for comments to be received ( Tuesday, June 20 ) and should therefore be renoticed, which I am hereby requesting. I
would also like to know if the notice was posted in any newspaper of general circulation in Butte County and, if not, why
not.
I look forward to your reply and believe a more thorough outreach to ALL would better serve the public interest in
reviewing the potential environmental effects of this proposed mining operation in the Sacramento River floodplain.
