Subject: Approval of Certificate of Merger (MER19-0005); APNs 027-020-048, 027-120-005
Dear DeBrunners,
On September 6, 2019, the Department of Development Services made the finding that the Certificate of
Merger on the above referenced property is exempt from environmental review, and approved the project.
Please allow ten days from the approval date, which falls on (Tuesday, September 17, 2019) before you
are able to record the merger. At that time, you will be able to pick up the Certificate of Merger (to be
recorded) at the Front Desk of the Department of Development Services at 7 County Center Drive,
Oroville, 95965.
A Clerk Recording Fee made out to “Butte County” is due when you record your certificate of merger at
the Clerk Recorder’s Office located at 155 Nelson Avenue, Oroville. Once you record the merger, you
are required to show a conformed copy to the Planning Division for the merger to take effect or wait for
final approval when the Clerk Recorder’s Office posts the merger recordation on their website.
Should you chose to appeal the decision of the Dept. of Development Services to the Planning
Commission, please submit your appeal, in writing, together with the appeal fee of $400.00, to the
Department of Development Services, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965, prior to 4:00 p.m.
on Monday, September 16, 2019.
