Said Board hereby determines to approve the Expansion of Powers for County Service Area No. ~ as specified below. 4. The short form designation of these proceedings is 99-24 -Expansion of Powers of C.S.A. No. 4 (Sierra Del Oro). 5. "1'he following type of service is found to be an additional extended service to be provided within said County Service Area No. 4: street lighting. 6. The area within which such extended services will be provided is the existing area of County Service Area No. 4. 7. County Service Area No. 4 is financed by AB 8 funds established as a result of Proposition 13 and will not require a vote pursuant to Proposition 218. Currently, there is no additional charge to fund the drainage services within County Service Area No. 4. Any new andlor increased charges would need to be processed in accordance with the provisions of Proposition 218. 8. The Clerk of the Board is authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this resolution with the Executive Officer of the Butte Local Agency Formation Commission.
