HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-039WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors recognizes the outstanding efforts of its
citizen volunteer firefighters; and
WHEREAS. Audrey Stephens has been a volunteer firetighter in Richvale since 1959.
serving as Captain, Assistant Chief, and has been serving as the Volunteer Fire Chief since 1976; and
WHEREAS, Audrey Stephens serves on the governing boards of the Richvale Hunting Area,
Richvale Sanitation District. Drainage District 200, Richvale Recreation and Park District, and the
Richvale Foundation; and
WHEREAS, Audrey Stephens was very instrumental in the purchase of Company 71 "s new
Engine 271 and Squad 7 l ,and much of the equipment carried on the pieces of apparatus; and
WHEREAS, Audrey Stephens has put in countless hours in repairs and maintenance of fire
equipment and facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
recognizes and congratulates Audrey Stephens on forty years of service; an outstanding achievement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 28`x' day of March
2000 by the following vote:
