HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-054 V~~~rr^rrrr~~~ ~}y~! ~ ~~~ ~i r~~~~ *w Bl'~ARD ~F SUF~ERVISOR~ ~b ~,q ; ~° ~ ~ ~ COUt~ITY OF BUTt'E, STATE O~ CALIFC)RNIA '*. ~ 4 • °'~r;;,.'rt~_~~' Resolution N0.00-54 RESOLUTION REQUESTING ALTERNATIVE CONS?'RUC"['ION PROGRESS PAYIY1EN`T PROCEDURE FOR "RF.CONS'I'RUC"i'ION OF NEAL ROAD FROI~~I 3.0 MILES "TO 4.7 MILES EAS"T OF STATE ROUTE 99" WHEREAS, the County oC Butte has programmed State `hransportation h~~provcmcnt Program funds (or the project titled "Ruc~7nslructic~n oC ;tical Road li~um .U niil~•s t~~ -l. ~' n~ilcs east of State Route 99." It is realized that this funding is a rcimbursel7~cnt type program. WHEREAS, the County of Butte has requested allocation for the construction portion of said funds and intends to construct said project in the summer of 2000. This project is one of three S'I'IP roadway projects, one lIB[tl2lST[P bridge project and one HBRR bridge project in addition to eight projects fwlded by other programs for this construction period. WHEREAS, due to large project expenditures anticipated in the first and second quarters of fiscal year 2000i'2001, the County of Butte reali~cs that there will be a tact: of cash to deliver projects in a timely manner utilizing standard reimbursement procedures. WHEREAS, the Califarnia Department of Transportation allows advance fundin~~ of reimbursement requests by advancing consU-uction funds estimated by the County of Butte to be paid on said project 30 days in the future through the Alternative Construction Progress Payment Procedure. WHEREAS, the County of Butte has determined that a request to advance funding will allow said project to be delivered in a timely manner and all other options have been cshausted. BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, Stale oI~ California, that Alternative Construction Progress Payment Procedure is rcquc~ted for the "Reconstruction of Null Road from 3.0 miles to 4.7 miles cast of State Route ~)9.""
