RESOLUTION CONCERNING CIiANGF,S IN NIAIN'I'AINED 1\1ILF,AC.1~.
WI"THIN BU'T'TE COUNTY
WHEREAS, Scclio~l 2121 of the Streets ~ Highwa_ys Codc provides that in May of cacti
year, the County shall submit to the Department oC "Transportation, Stale of~ Calilorni~~l, any
additions to or exclusions li-om its mileage oC n~aintaincd County roads, spcciCying the tcr~l~ini
and mileage of each route added or excluded; and
WHh:REAS, the Depart~l~ent of Transportation, State uTC~ilifornia, certi(i~d t~ th~~ St~itc
Controller in March, 2000, that the total mileage of maintained County roads in Butte County
was 1358.6 miles; and
WHEREAS, Butte Count_V now finds that a total mileage oE~ maintained County roads is
135956 miles;
NOW THEREFORh~, BE IT RESOLVED that the total mileage of maintained County
roads be 1359.56 miles, as indicated in color on the maps marked Exhibit "A" and in accordance
with the additions, exclusions or corrections to the tabulation marked Exhibit `B." Both cxhihits
are hereby made, by reference thereto, a part of this resolution.
BE IT F+'URTHER RESOLVED AND ORDE_RH;D that duplicate copies of~ the
hereinabove said Exhibits ".4" and "B" shall be filed in the oCiiee of the Director of Public
Works oCthe County oTButtc.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County oT Butte, State of
