RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE
FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE PARTNERSHIP
WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health, Community Services
Division has been awarded a grant to assist in additional training and development for
leaders of the existing Friday Night Live Program from Tulare County Superintendent of
Schools, doing business a s the California Friday Night Live Partnership (CFNLP); and
WHEREAS, the CFNLP has been authorized by the California State Department of
Alcohol and Drug Programs to provide statewide leadership for the implementation of the
Friday Night Live (FNL) Youth Development Pilot Project; and
WHEREAS, CFNLP shall provide oversight to a training development team; provide
training and feedback; award funding and provide administrative support to the awardees of
a request for application (RFA) process; and
WHEREAS, this contract is considered a subcontract under terms of a prime contract
with the California State Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, and requires CFNLP to
secure specific objectives as outlined in the Sand Deliverables.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Butte County Department of Behavioral
Health, Community Services Division has authorization to participate in the Friday Night Live
Partnership Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 30th day of
May 2000, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, tfoux, Josiassen, Davis and Chair Dolan
NOES: None
