A RESOLUTION OF TIIE COUNTY OF BUTTE APPROVING
AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING AND THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT
AGREEMENT FROM TILE PLANNINGITECHNICALASSLSTANCE ALLOCATION
OF THE STATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte as follows:
SECTION 1: The Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves an application for up to
$35,000 in State CDBG Planning and Technical Assistance Funds for the purpose of completing the
following activities:
Business Retention/Expansion Analysis $27,000
Purchase Order Financing Feasibility Study $ 8,000
SECTION 2: The Board of Supervisors has reviewed the citizen participation plan for compliance with
federal statute and has determined that this plan was followed for the development of this application.
SECTION 3: The Board of Supervisors hereby approves the use of a $1,050 cash match for the project
or 3% of the total grant request.
SECTION 4: The Chief Administrative Officer or his designee are hereby authorized to enter into and sign
the grant agreement or any subsequent amendments with the State of California for the purpose of this
grant.
SECTION 5: Tl~e Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and directed to act on the County's
behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on this 11th day of July, 2000, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Houx, Josiassen, Davis and Chair Dolan
NOES: Nane

ABSTAIN: None
