RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AUTHORI"LING THE
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE ALL GRANT APPLICATIONS AND
CONTRACTS FOR THE FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION (FTA) GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Secretary of Transportation is authorized to snake grants for mass tr~ulsportation
projects;
WHEREAS, the contract for financial assistance will impose certain obligations upon the
applicant, including the provision denoting the local share ofpro.ject costs;
BE [T RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, that
the Butte County Director of Public Vt~orks is hereby authorized to sign and file applications for Federal
Transit Administration (FTA} funds and execute all contracts and other documents pertinent to the Federal
Transit Administration (F"I :A) grant program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, this 22nd ,day of August , 2000, by the following vote:
