HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-130~y • ~' ~ ~r ~ ~ , ,~ r ~, 4. .~ .. ~` ~ CC~J:INTY 4F BUTTE, STA~'{~ Cam' ~ALII~bRNIA ~, ~~i~ [?'~r'~'" ' ..ter ~it'solution N0. 00-130 RESOLUTION FOR SUMMARY ABANDONMF,NT FOR LARKSPUR AVENUE From River Road Easterly to it's end WHEREAS, all of Larkspur Avenue Right of Way is no longer necessary or reduired for road purposes; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code Section Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4, commencing with Section No. 8330, the Board finds that all of Larkspur Avenue Right of Way should be summarily vacated; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, as follows: All of Larkspur Avenue Right of Way is hereby summarily vacated and abandoned pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4, commencing with Section No. 8330: Being that certain 40 foot wide Right of Way known as Larkspur Avenue lying within projected Section 26, Township 22 North, Range 1 West, M.D.M., as shown lying within Lots 22 and 23, as shown on that certain map entitled "Meridian Subdivision" which map was recorded September 8`~', 1901 in Book "B" of Maps at Page 1G in the Office of the Recorder, County of Butte, State of California, and being more particularly described as follows: Being that certain 40 foot wide Right of Way known as Larkspur Avenue, as shown on said map of Meridian Subdivision, lying 20 feet on either side of and parallel with and contiguous to the Lot line common to Lots 22 and 23 of said Meridian Subdivision. Beginning at a point on the Easterly Right of Way line of River Road, formally known as Sutter Avenue, and the centerline of Larkspur Avenue, thence along said centerline North 63°00'00" East to the Easterly subdivision line of said Meridian Subdivision and the end of Larkspur Avenue. Containing 1.84 Acres, more or less. And from and after the date the Resolution is recorded, the public right of way vacated no longer constitutes a public right of way.
