HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-133WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 2.2, Part 2, Division 2, Title 3 of the Government Code of the State
of California, com-I~encing with Section 25210.1, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has petitioned the
1,ocal Agency Formation Co-nmission for the formation ofCounty Service Area No. 173 (Melrose Estates); and
WHEREAS, on the 7`t' day of September 2000, the Local Agency Formation Commission approved the
formation of County Service Area No. 173;
NOW, THF,REFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED that County Service Area No. 173 is proposed to be
established under the terms of the aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County.
1. The boundary line of the territories proposed for inclusion in the county service area are
described in Exhibit '`A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference,
2. The county service area shall be called Cou-ity Service Area No. 173-Melrose Estates. The
type of extended services to be provided are maintenance of storm drain facilities and street
lighting for the approved 15 lot residential subdivision.
3. ~hhe Butte County Board of Supervisors has conducted a Property Owner Ballot Proceeding
pursuant Proposition 218, and will adopt a resolution confirming the services cha-ges to be
levied on each parcel of real property within the county service area prior to the fling of the
Certificate of Completion; and
4. "That a public hearing will be held on December 5, 2000, at 11:15 a.m. in the Board of
Supervisors Chambers, County Administration Buildin~~, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville,
California, for consideration of the establishment of said area.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 24`x' day of October, 2000,
