working parents in our community; and
WHEREAS, Valley Oak Children's Services has taken an active role for 20 years to aid
development of adequate, affordable, quality child care; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors asks residents to support local child care
information and referral services. and the recruitment of child care providers by Valley Oak
Children's Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
honors the Valley Oak Children's Services for its 20-year commitment to child care services in
E3utte County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 24`x' day of
October 2000 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors ~3eeler, Houx, Josiassen, Davis and Chair Dolan

RESOLUTION HONORING VALLEY OAK CHILDREN'S SERVICES
ON THEIR TWENTY YEAR ANNIVERSARY
