HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-160WHEREAS, Butte County adopts and recognizes a German Shepard dog named
Marco. Said dog shall be used by the Butte County Sheriff s Office as a member of the
canine unit; and
WHEREAS, Deputy Eric Christopher will be Marco's handler and partner. The
County will provide all food and medical care for Marco; and
WHEREAS, Marco shall reside with Deputy Christopher. He shall be deputized
upon completion of his training.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEll by the Board of Supervisors, on its
own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, that said Board will
adopt Marco as a canine officer for the Butte County Sheriff- s Office;.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on this 19`h
day of December 2000 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Hoax, Josiassen, Davis and Chair Do]_an
