THE CALIFORNIA MENTAL HEALTH DIRECTORS ASSOCIATION
AMENDED AGREEMENT
FOR AN EXTENDED YEAR TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO FOSTER CARE
AND OTHER MEDI-CAL ELIGIBLE CHILDREN PLACED OUTSIDE
OF BUTTE COUNTY'S DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
FOR
FY 2000/2001
WHEREAS, In order to improve access to services for foster care and other Medi-Cal
eligible children and youth who are placed outside of Butte County, the Butte County Department
of Behavioral Health {BCDBH) has entered into an agreement with the California Mental Health
Directors Association {CMHDA), to gain access to a statewide provider network managed by
Value Options, a national behavioral health company; and
WHEREAS, Butte County of Behavioral Health wishes to extend the CMHDA program
through FY 2000/2001 with the maximum financial obligation to be $25,000 for FY 2000!2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Butte County Board of Supervisors
adopt this resolution authorizing the State Department of Mental Heath to continue its CMHDA
program with Butte County Department of Behavioral Health for another term; and be it
FUTHER RESOLVED, That the money is to be used to pay for services and claims
payment, authorized on behalf of Butte County Medi-Cal beneficiaries by Value Options through
their contract with California Mental Health Directors Association.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 9`h day of
January 2000, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: none
NOT VOTING: None
