BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
TO APPLY FOR THE COLD WEATHER SHELTER PROGRAM (EHAP-2000)

DIVISION OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS
WHEREAS, The State of California, Department of Housing and Community Development, Division of
Community Affairs, issued a Notice of Funding Availability letter {NOFA} for the second round of Special Cold Weather
Funding {Chapter 793, Statutes of 1999); and
WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health {BCDBH) is a local government agency that is
eligible and wishes to apply far and receive a grant from this funding source;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte Gounty Board of Supervisors authorizes the Butte
County Director of Behavioral Health to apply for a Special Cold Weather Funding grant in an amount not more than
the maximum amount permitted by the NOFA, and in accordance with the program statute, Regulations;
If the Grant application authorized by this resolution is approved, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health hereby
agrees to use the Special Cold Weather Funds grant for eligible activities in the manner presented in the application as
approved by the Department and in accordance with Chapter 793, Statute of 199 {AB 612), and the Standard
Agreement.
If the grant application authorized by this resolution is approved, the Director of Behavioral Health is authorized to sign
the Standard Agreement and any subsequent amendments with the Department for the purposes of this grant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 13t" day of February 2001, by the
following vote:
