dedicated service to the County of Butte; and
WHEREAS, Paula L. Davis began her career with Butte County on July 13, 1977, as a Typist
Clerk li for the Butte County Personnel Department; and
WHEREAS, on August 16, 1982, Paula L. Davis transferred to the Butte County Sheriff's
Office as a Typist Clerk Il; and
WHEREAS, Paula L. Davis has worked for Butte County as Typist Clerk 11, 'T'ypist Clerk lll,
Principal Clerk, Administrative Services Assistant, Sheriffs Background/Employment Coordinator,
Sheriffs Staffing Specialist, and Supervisor -Staff Support Services; and
WHEREAS, Puarlcr L. Davis finished her career as Sheriffs Staffing Specialist, tieing
responsible for all aspects of personnel issues for Butte County Sheriff's Office personnel; and
WHEREAS, during her career with the Butte County Sheriffs Office, Patrlu L. Davis has
received many letters and cards of gratitude and appreciation for a job well done; and
WHEREAS, Prrz~la L. 17avis has been a valued employee and friend; and
WHEREAS, after faithful service, Paula L. Davis retired from the Butte County Sheriffs
Office on December 27, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors. on its ovum behalf
and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, expresses its deep appreciation for the selfless
dedication and devotion given by Paulu I, Davis during her 23-year career with the County of Butte.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 13`x' day of March
2001 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
