HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-015WHEREAS, this Board expresses its appreciation to Rvnuld D. Prock for over 29 years of
dedicated service to the Butte County Sheriff's Office; and
WHEREAS, Rvnuld D. Prock started his law enforcement career as a Deputy Sheriff for the
Butte County Sheriff's Office on August 26, 1471; and
WHEREAS, Ronald D. Prock served under five Butte County Sheriff-Coroners and
WHEREAS, Ronald D. Prock worked on Patrol. covering the Gridley area for twelve years,
as well as other areas; and
WHEREAS, Ronald D, Prock worked in the Special Investigations Unit, and it is
particularly noteworthy that as the Thermalito Afterbay Patrol Deputy, he greatly improved
conditions for the public on and around the water; and
WHEREAS, Ronald D. Prock has worked as a Background Investigator for the past four
years; and
WHEREAS, after faithful service, Ronuld I~. Prock retired from the Butte County Sheriff s
Office on February 16, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors, on its own behalf
and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, expresses its deep appreciation for the selfless
dedication and devotion given by Departs Ronald 1~. Prock during his 29-year law enforcement career
with the Butte County Sherift~s Office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 13`x' day of March
2001 by the following vote:
