BUTTE COUNTY CLERK-RECORDER
(GOVERNMENT CODE SECTIONS 29320 et seq.)
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has determined that, for the efficient
operation of the Butte County Clerk-Recorder's Office. Change Funds are necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California Sections 29320 et seq.
provide for the establishment of such fiords in amounts to be determined by the Board of
Supervisors, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors for the County of Butte has previously established
the County Clerk-Recorder Change Funds in the total amount of $ ] 50.00; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Clerk-Recorder's Office has changed its daily operation
such that the amount of $150.00 is now insufficient for the proper administration of the Butte
Cowlty Clerk-Recorder's Change Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That in order to provide appropriate accountability for all cash transactions, it is
necessary to increase the amount of the Butte County Clerk-Recorder Change
Funds from $150.00 to $200.00.
2. That this Fund is established in accordance with Sections 29329 et seq. of the
Government Code of the State of California, and that certified copies of the
resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor and the County Treasurer.
3. That the Chief Administrative Officer and Risk Manager are instructed pursuant
to Section 29323 of the Government Code to amend by endorsement the blanket
fidelity bond of the county to be conditioned in addition to its other provisions,
upon the faithful administration of the Change Funds and upon the willingness
and ability of the principal for whom such funds have been established to account
for and pay aver the funds upon demand of the Board of Supervisors at any time.
4. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby authorized and directed to draw a
warrant in the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) in favor of the Butte County C1erk-
Recorder's Office from the Butte County Recorder Change Funds (F-0010), for
deposit into the Clerk-I:ecorder's Change Funds,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State oi~
California, on the 27`E' day of March, 2001, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
