RESOLUTION OF 'THE BliTTE COliNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
?~T~IENDINU THE BUT''`TE COliN''Y CONFLICT OF INTEREST CORE
WHEREAS, on May 7, 1991, the Butte County Board of Supervisors, by Resolution No.
9"~-56, adopted a Conflict of Interest Code, a listing of Designated Employees, a
'.~:st;.ng of Conunir.tees ~nnc, Comm:ss-.ons, and Place of Filing for Designated Employees and
Comm_ttees a-~d Commissions {hereafter col.l.ectively termed "Code") pursuant to the Fair
Political Practices Act; on June 22., 1993, adopted Resolation No. 93-86 amending said
Code; on 2larch 26, 1996, adopted Reso~~~~.ution No. 96-30 amending said Code; and on May
13, 1997, adopt=ed Resolution No. 97-59 amending said code;
L~7H"r;R AS, the County o~ Butte has reviewed the Code as amended, arr a periodic
basis as required by tyre Fair Poli,ica: ?ractices Act; and
WHEREAS, after conducting such review, the Code requires modification.
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL?7ED, that:

by Resolution No. 97-59 be .r_eplaced fully and completely by the list. of Designated
.~;mpioyees which accv.~:pan~es this Resolution. This attachment steal' therefore supplant
t:~e former Attachment B t.o tl:e County Cor_ilict oL Ti_ternst C'odc, and become tT.e
applicable and valid Attachment B to that. Code.
2. T'he listing of roinm.~tter_s and c'o^~~r.i ssi.ons, the members of which are
required to file Conflict of Interest Statements, be replaced fully and completely vaith
the listing of commissions and committees ~~~Y:ich accompanies this Resolution. This
attachment shall therefore supplant the former Attachment C to the County Conflict of
Interest Code and become the applicable and valid Atta~Y._~.~ent C {Farts I, II, III and
IV) to that Code. Attac'runent C, Part IV, Butte County Schools has been removed from
the Butte Cou::ty Code be..ause t_he_y not^~ f~~e with the Butte r'ounty Office of Scucat~on.

Attachment B -Part I:
Where: County Clerk-Recorder
Butte County Elections Department

From the list of designated employees, the Personnel Director shall be required to enclose in each
appointment packet and termination packet, a Form 700 -Statement of Economic Interests. The
Personnel Director shall notify the filing officer (County Clerk-Recorder} within seven days of
each employee assuming or leaving any designated position. The employee shall submit the
completed statement to his or her department head which shall make and retain a copy and
forward the original statement to the County Clerk (Elections Department) where it shall be held
on file.

Officer where it shall be held on file.
