WHEREAS. Article XIII-B of the Calil'arnia Constitution provides that local
governments mast establish annual appropriation limits pursuant to said Article. and:
WHIRI~AS_ Section 7910. Division 9_ of the Government Code. prof-ides that the
governing bode of each local jurisdiction shall. by resolution. establish its appropriations limit
for the following year at a regularly scheduled meeting. and:
WHERL~:AS. the Auditor-Controller has calculated the Butte County appropriations limit
for Iiscal year 2001-2002 to be $97.221.1 18.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE I"I~ RESOLVED that the appropriations limit for Butte Countti
is established to be $97?21.1 18 for t7scal year 200]-2002_ and:
FUR"fHER. that said appropriatic~ms limit. and the determination thereof are in
compliance with Article XIII-B of the California Constitution.
PASSED AND ADOPTF;D by the Board of Supervisors. County of Butte_ State of
