RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WELFARE AND INSTITUTIONS CODE 873 AS
THE APPROVED OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE CODE FOR THE RECREATION,
EDUCATION, AND SPECIAL PROJF,CTS FUNll FOR THE BUTTE COUNTY
.JUVENILE HALL
WHEREAS, in 1992 the Board of Supervisors passed Butte County Resolution No. 92-47
which established a Recreation, Education, and Special Projects Fund far the Butte County
Juvenile Hall; and
WHEREAS, operating procedures were never established on how the fund was to be
managed;
WHEREAS, in 1997 Welfare and Institutions Code 873 was adopted into law which provides
detailed operational guidelines for such funds.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
approve Welfare and Institutions Code 873 for the operation of the Recreation, Education, and
Special Projects Fund for the Butte County Juvenile Hall.
