WHEREAS, Jennifer K. Faughn served as Business Recruitment Officer of the Butte County
Economic Development Corporation from May 27, 1999 to June 30, 2001 with dedication and
distinction; and
WHEREAS, in the performance of this important job on behalf of the County, .Iennifer
Faughn has provided clear and quality direction on the issues of building the image and business
friendly vision for the leaders of Butte County that has been a true benefit to the Economic
Development process in Butte County; and
WHEREAS, Sutte County has benefited tcom the experience and expertise of Jennifer
E=aughn and has valued her contribution to the Economic Development effort.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
recognizes and expresses its appreciation for the services of Jennifer Faughn to the Butte County
Economic Development Corporation on behalf of Butte County, and extends sincere appreciation and
commendation to Jennifer Faughn for her distinguished service; and
FURTHER, that this resolution be included in the minutes of the Butte County Board of
Supervisors, and that a copy of said Resolution be delivered to Jennifer Faughn as a testimonial of
the sentiments of the Board of Supervisors of Butte County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this I l `~' day of
September 2001 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
