RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF NORMA "ELLEN" GAMON
UPON RETIREMENT FROM THE BUTTE COUNTY LIBRARY
WHEREAS, "Ellen" Gamon, Library Assistant III, Technical Services Supervisor for the Butte County
Library, announced her retirement as of Wednesday, October 3`d and
WHEREAS, "Ellen" Gamon began her career with the County of Butte as a Library Clerk March 1,
1971; and
WHEREAS, "Ellen" Gamon has been responsible for the Library technical services operation,
including all cataloging and processing of library materials, since December 1986; and
WHEREAS, "Ellen" Gamon has spent 30 years as a dedicated and cheerful employee of the County of
Butte; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That this Board, on its own behalf, and on behalf of the
residents of the County of Butte, wish to express to Norma "Ellen" Gamon sincere appreciation for her many years
of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the residents of the County of Butte, and fizrthcr wish
her well on her retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this
2'ith day of September, 2001, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, llolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
