WHEREAS, a local emergency presently exists in the County of Butte in accordance
with the proclamation thereof by the Director of Emergency Services on the 7`~ day of
September, 2001 and its ratification by the Board of Supervisors on the 1 l'" day of
September, 2001, as a result of conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and
propeY~ty caused by widespread fires which has resulted in the evacuation of populations
in the communities of Yankee Hi11 and Concow
WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is now
deemed to be within the control of the normal protective services, personnel, equipment
and facilities within the County of Butte.
NOW, THERF,FORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, Does herehy proclaim the termination of said local emergency.
PASSF,D AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State
of California, on this 25`x' day of September, 2041 by the following votes:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
