WHEREAS, a local emergency presently exists in the County of Butte in accordance with
the proclamation thereof by the Director of Emergency Services on October 24, 2001, and its
ratification by the Board of Supervisors on October 29, 2001, as a result of conditions of extreme
peril to the safety of persons and property caused by widespread fires which resulted in the
evacuation of populations in the communities north of Coneow.
WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is now deemed
to be within the control of the normal protective services, personnel, equipment and facilities
within the County of Butte.
NOW, THEREFOKE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, does hereby proclaim the termination of said local emergency.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, on this 29"' day of October 2001, by the fallowing vote:
