RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHAIR TO S1GN
GRANT APPLICATION SUBMITTED BY
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
WITH
SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATION
BLOCK GRANT
(S.A.M.H.S.A.)
FOR FY 200112002
WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH) requires Butte
County Board of Supervisors authorization to re-apply for the Substance Abuse and Mental
Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Block Grant and to accept $233,870.00 in funding
that has been allocated for Fiscal Year 2001/2002; and
WHEREAS, the term of the SAMHSA agreement shall be July 1, 2001 through
June 30, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
authorizes the Butte County Department of Behavioral Health to submit the FY 2401/2002
application and to accept the $233,870.00 in funding for this fiscal year.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this I $`" day of
December 2001, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Roux, Yamaguchi and Chair Jo,iassen
