RESOLUTION FOR SUMMARY ABANDONMENT OF THE
OFFER OF DEDICATION TO BUTTE COUNTY REQUIRED BY THE PARCEL MAP
RECORDED IN BOOK 62 OF MAPS, AT PAGE 66
WHEREAS, The Parcel Map recorded in Book 62 of Maps, at Page 66 provides for an Offer of
Dedication to Butte County fora 60-Ofoot wide easement for future road purposes; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code Section Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4,
commencing with Section No. 8330, the Board finds that Offer of Dedication for the 60-foot wide
easement is not required for future road purposes and should therefore be summarily vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, as follows:
The Offer of Dedication for the 60-foot wide easement shall revert to the owners of the
underlying property described as Parcel 2 of the Map recorded in Book 62 of Maps, at Page 66 in the
office of the Butte County Recorder and that the said Offer of Dedication is hereby summarily vacated
and abandoned pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4, commencing
with Section No. 8330; and
From and after the date the Resolution is recorded, the public right of way vacated no longer
constitutes a public right of way. The Board does not intend, through the abandonment of the said Offer
of Dedication, to extinguish or attempt to extinguish any privately-held easements or other interests in
real property burdening the above referenced parcel.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 8th day of January
?002, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
