RESOLUTION INCREASING THE RF,VOLVING FUND FOR THE
CENTRAL COLLECTIONS DIVISION OF THE
BUTTE COUNTY TREASURER-TAX COLLECTOR'S OFFICE
(GOVERNMENT CODE SECTIONS 24320 et seq.}
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has determined that, for the
efficient operation of the Butte County Treasurer-Tax Collector's Office, a Revolving
Fund is necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of Califonlia sections 29320 et
seq. provide for the establishment of such funds in amounts to be determined by the
Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors for the County of Butte has previously
established by resolution #62-105 and #90-143 the Central Collections Revolving Fund
in the total amount of $300.00 and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Treasurer-'Tax Collector's Office has changed its
daily operation such that the amount of $300.00 is now insufficient for the proper
administration of the Butte County Central Collections Revolving Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, as follows:
1. That there is determined to be a necessity for the increase in the amount of the
revolving fund in the Central Collections Division of the ~hreasurer Tax
Collector's Office.
2. That the amount of the revolving fund shall be the sum of one thousand
dollars ($1,000.00}, which will consist of three hundred dollars ($300.00}
previously authorized by minute order and a seven hundred dollar ($700.00)
increase, which is herein authorized.
That this fund is established in accordance with sections 29320, et seq. of the
Government Code of the State of California and that certified copies of the
Resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor and the County
Treasurer.
4. That the Chief Administrative Officer and Risk Manager are instructed
pursuant to Section 29323 of the Government Code to amend by endorsement
the blanket fidelity bond of the county to be conditioned, in addition to its
other provisions, upon the faithful administration of the Revolving Fund and
upon the willingness and ability of the principal, for wham such funds have
been established, to account for and pay over the funds upon demand of the
Board of Supervisors at any time.
5. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby authorized and directed to draw a
check in the sum of seven hundred dollars ($700.00) in favor of the Butte
County Central Collections Division of the Treasurer-Tax Collector's Office
from the Butte County General Fund (F-0010), for deposit into the Central
Collections Revolving Fund.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, on the 12th day of March , by the following vote:
