'~ •i ~~ '~ .•' ~'•. r' ~i y •i i V• r • r : ~ r _~, . ^ . ~~;~ ° ~ ~*,,~{ f ~*i • .~ t .:: ~ ~.• i ~1 ~~gnn~~~+~ '~ E30ARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Resolution No. o~-o~y RESOLUTION TO EXTEND CSAC F,XCF.SS INSURANCE AUTHORITY INSURANCE PROGRAMS TO THE SUPERIOR COU12T OF BUTTE COUNTY WHEREAS, the County obtains various i-or~ns of insurance coverage from CSAC Excess Insurance Authority (CSAC-EIA); and WHEREAS, the Superior Court of Butte County does not automatically quality for said coverage and it is necessary to make application to, and request approval from, the CSAC-EIA tar the coverage; and WHEREAS, the County of Butte wants. for insurance purposes, to consider Superior Court of Butte County and its activities in a manner equal to other County activities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED tklat the Butte County Board of Supervisors approves the addition of the Superior Court of Butte County and its activities to the County's Primary and Excess Workers' Compensation Insurance, Property Insurance, Employee Faithful Performance Bond, and Crime Insurance; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County does accept responsibility for any applicable self-insured retention obligation; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this commitment is retroactive to July 1.2001. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 9th day of April 2002 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors ~3eeler, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen NOES: None ABSENT: None-~ NOT VOTING: Ncn~~ `' CU JOSIAS~?~EZV;`Chair ATTEST: LAWRENCE D.
