RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GHAIR TO SIGN
NOTIGE OF GRANT AWARD BETWEEN
STATE DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOL & DRUG PROGRAMS
OFFICE OF DRUG COURT PRORGRAMS
AND
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
FOR
PROJECT YEAR 4
FY 2002/2003
WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health {BCDBH) requires Butte
County Board of Supervisors authorization to accept the funds BCDBH has been awarded for
Project Year 4 from the State Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs Office of Drug Court
Programs (ADP) and to continue its successful Drug Court Partnership Project; and
WHEREAS, BCDBH requests the Butte County Board of Supervisors authorization to
accept the revenue for FY 2002/2003 in the amount of $88,663 under Agreement #DCP-01-04-
04; and
WHEREAS, the term of the ADP agreement remains May 1, 1999 through April 30, 2003.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
autharizes BCDBH to contract with the State Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs Office of
Drug Court Programs, and authorizes BCDBH to accept the $88,663 for the continued
participation in the Drug Court Partnership Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 9th day of April
2002, by the following vote:
