NOTICE OF GRANT AWARD BETWEEN
STATE DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOL 8~ DRUG PROGRAMS
OFFICE OF DRUG COURT PROGRAMS
AND
BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
FOR Project Year 2
FY 2002/2003
WHEREAS, Butte County Department of Behavioral Health (BCDBH} requires Butte
County Board of Supervisors authorization to accept funds from the California Department of
Alcohol & Drug Programs Office of Drug Court Programs (ADP} for the Comprehensive Drug
Court Implementation Program; and
WHEREAS, BCDBH requests the Butte County Board of Supervisors authorization to
accept the revenue for FY 2002!2003 in the amount of $74,097 under Agreement CDC!-01/02-04-
02; and
WHEREAS, the term of the agreement will remain December 29, 2000 through
December 18, 2004, with a maximum receivable amount of $360,745.00 for the term of this
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
authorizes BCDBH to contract with the State Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs Office of
Drug Court Programs, and authorized BCDBH to accept the $74,097 for the continued
participation in the Drug Court Program.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 9th day of
October 2001, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Beeler, Dolan, }roux, Yamaguchi and Chair Josiassen
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
